Russell L. Carson, Chairman

Mr. Carson is a co-founder and General Partner of one of the countryıs largest private investment firms, Welsh, Carson, Anderson, & Stowe, which he founded in 1978. Before establishing WCAS, he was employed by Citicorp Venture Capital and from 1974 to 1978, he served as Chairman and CEO. He is very active in community affairs, and is a trustee on many boards, such as Dartmouth College, and serves as Chairman of Rockefeller University and Chairman Emeritus of Columbia Business School. Mr. Carson and his wife Judy are patrons of Holy Cross Elementary School and St. Mark the Evangelist Elementary School in Manhattan, and Mr. Carson is also involved with Notre Dame School and Rice High School in Manhattan.
